Job Opportunity:

Registered Nurse (Full-Time & part time) – Co Wicklow

We are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses to join our client who are into cosmetics in South Dublin. This on-site role involves providing direct, individualized patient care while working alongside surgeons and an interdisciplinary team to uphold our high standards of patient safety and care.

Mandatory:

  • PACU, post op experience
  • Strong Theatre + ward experience
  • Min 2 to 3years of experience

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

  • Care Planning: Develop personalized care plans aligned with patient needs and nursing best practices.
  • Medication Administration: Administer oral, intravenous, and injectable medications safely, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.

Monitoring & Observation

  • Vital Signs: Regularly assess and document temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Patient Condition: Monitor changes and promptly report significant developments to medical staff.

Patient Education & Support

  • Provide guidance and emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment plans.

Coordination & Communication

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and the medical team.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Accurate Charting: Record all patient assessments, treatments, and progress meticulously.
  • Regulatory Standards: Ensure all documentation complies with legal and healthcare regulations.

Safety & Hygiene

  • Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection prevention protocols.
  • Environment Maintenance: Keep patient areas clean and safe for both staff and patients.

Requirements

  • Active NMBI Registered Nurse Pin
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
  • Certifications in:
    • CPR
    • Manual Handling
    • Infection Control
    • Hand Hygiene & PPE
    • GDPR (Training can be provided if needed)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
