About the Role
A Speech & Language Therapist is required to join a multidisciplinary team in the Adult Intellectual Disability sector. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills in both Communication and Dysphagia, with full supervision and professional development support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Provide intervention for individuals with both communication needs and dysphagia.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.
- Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and staff as required.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development.
Essential Criteria:
- A recognized qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
- CORU registration (or pending).
- Minimum of three months' experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Full Irish driver’s license and access to own transport.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
