The Role
My client, a well established car dealership is seeking an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join their team based in Tullamore. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.
As the Service Advisor you will be responsible for managing the flow of information between multiple departments across the dealership whilst providing excellent customer service.
Tasks & Duties
- Handle all service inquiries via telephone and in-person visits for the Dealership.
- Establish mutual understanding and agreement with customers regarding the required work.
- Review vehicle and customer history to identify potential additional service needs, such as recalls or previously noted items.
- Oversee the handover and administrative tasks related to Customer Service Vehicles, ensuring clear communication of completed work to customers and obtaining their authorisation.
- Generate invoices for completed services.
- Ensure Vehicle Health Checks are conducted for each vehicle.
- Coordinate with department managers as necessary to address any customer dissatisfaction, following established Dealership procedures.
- Adhere to safe working practices and comply with Dealership standards.
- Maintain accuracy in relevant systems at all times.
- Fulfill any other assigned duties as directed by the Service Manager.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of two years’ experience as a service advisor.
- Previous motor industry experience – essential.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Strong computer literacy including MS Office, CDK/Kerridge and Auto VHC.
- Full, clean driving license is essential.
