FRS Recruitment are pleased to work with private hospitals throughout Ireland. We are seeking experienced Resident Medical Officers (RMO) to work in these hospitals. RMO roles in private hospitals offer an excellent work/life balance, with flexible working hours and attractive salary.

An RMO will assist with the daily review of all post-operative inpatients, assist with the preparation of patients for surgery, asses any changes in the patient's condition, initiating any emergency treatment where necessary, and informing the consultant immediately. The RMO is also expected to act as a team leader in a cardiac arrest situation.

The role is varied and combines emergency response with in patient management, working in multidisciplinary teams of dedicated healthcare professionals. An RMO works closely with highly skilled and specialised consultants, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with world class consultant in a state of the art medical environment.

The successful candidate must meet the following criteria

Active Irish Medical Council Registration

BLS/ACLS Training Certification

At least 2 years post internship experience in an acute hospital environment

Prior experience of working in Ireland/EU/UK would be highly advantageous

Strong communication skills essential, proof of English language fluency required
