Project Worker – Homeless and Drug Service – Dublin - €33,860-€37,980 DOE
Job Opportunity: 18 month fixed term contract- full time
Location: Dublin 8
Hours: 39 hrs per week shift rota Monday to Sunday
Are you a dedicated Social Care Worker who has experience in working with people in addiction and recovery? Are you seeking a rewarding career in a well-established homeless and drug service? The main objective of this role is to work directly with clients as part of a team and to provide a safe, secure environment for clients.
Requirements:
- Relevant QQI third level 7 or above qualification in social Care, addiction, community or youth work
- Have a minimum of 2 years relevant employed work experience in addiction, community
development, health & social care, mental health services, education or related fields including
experience in crisis support, key working, and case management. - Have an understanding of the issues relating to alcohol and drug use/homelessness and mental health, and experience of client work in these areas, and the interventions required
- Good Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and practice regarding homelessness and/or drug use.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
