This Production Manager job is commutable from Clonmel (15 mins), Cahir (15 mins) Cashel (15 mins) , Tipperary Town (25 mins), Mitchelstown, (20 mins), Fethard (20 mins) Thurles (35mins) Fermoy, (40 mins), Kilkenny City (45 mins), Mallow, Co. Cork (45 mins) Waterford City (1 hour) Limerick City (1 hour) and Cork City (1 hour)
What You’ll Be Doing:
🔹 Lead & Optimize Production:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
🔹 Drive Performance:
Supervise and support your team to maximize production output, reviewing daily yield and efficiency results.
🔹 Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving, and process enhancement.
🔹 Team Development:
Identify and implement training to upskill employees
and enhance overall plant productivity.
🔹 Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with Engineering, Logistics, and HR
to optimize production capabilities.
🔹 Workforce Management:
Assist in scheduling and payroll processes to ensure smooth and accurate staff payments.
🔹 Food Safety & Compliance:
Maintain the highest standards in hygiene, food safety, and environmental regulations.
🔹 Health & Safety:
Ensure all safety protocols are followed to provide a safe and productive
work environment.
