Middle Office Lending Operations Specialist
An international financial services institution is seeking an experienced professional to join their team. This middle office role focuses on managing the operational delivery of a portfolio of bilateral and syndicated loans across several European markets.
You'll work within a collaborative and agile operations team, supporting the full loan lifecycle and ensuring a high standard of control, efficiency, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:

Review complex loan documentation (bilateral and syndicated) from an operational perspective, ensuring adherence to best practice standards

Set up and maintain deals in Loan IQ system based on facility agreements.

Oversee day-to-day activities such as drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and fee processing in collaboration with global operations teams.

Maintain a controlled and compliant environment, promptly escalating potential risks or workflow bottlenecks.

Support internal and external reporting obligations, while contributing to process improvements and project work.
Experience & Skills Required:

2–5 years’ experience in a middle office, lending operations, or similar financial services function.

Knowledge of loan products, including syndicated and bilateral facilities.

Experience using loan servicing systems (LoanIQ preferred).

Familiarity with LMA/LSTA loan documentation and operational workflows.

Strong attention to detail, control mindset, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
This role is based in Dublin and offers hybrid working, 2 days a week in the office. Lovely opportunity for the right person.
