Manufacturing Technician | North Dublin

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician for a temporary contract at a state-of-the-art facility in North Dublin. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting advanced medical systems and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet high industry standards. You will also support Engineering teams in developing new test procedures and designing testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and test systems and sub-assemblies against test specifications.
- Inspect components using engineering drawings, schematics, and flow diagrams.
- Prepare chemical reagents for testing and troubleshoot issues in electrical, hydraulic, and chemical operations.
- Ensure correct system configurations are delivered based on customer orders.
- Assist Engineering with the installation and verification of new test procedures and products.
- Maintain detailed test records and quality control documentation.
- Oversee repairs and ensure they meet specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols, especially when handling dangerous or hazardous materials.
What You Need:
- A third-level qualification in Engineering (Degree, Diploma, or QQI Level 6 Certificate).
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or test technician role.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP.
- Ability to train new or existing staff on testing procedures and unfamiliar systems.
