Daycare at Home Nurse Manager – Co. Tipperary

We are seeking a Daycare at Home Nurse Manager to oversee our Daycare at Home Service in Clonmel.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a permanent role, working 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Role Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for individuals with dementia and a proven background in human resource management, financial oversight, quality standards, and risk management. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
A nursing degree and registration with NMBI or an equivalent qualification in social care, applied social studies, or a related field (validated by NQAI) are required. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the health, social care, or voluntary sectors.
Key Responsibilities
The Daycare at Home Nurse Manager will:
- Supervise and support Dementia Support Workers.
- Manage recruitment, induction, training, and performance reviews for staff.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and resolve HR matters with appropriate guidance.
- Schedule and issue staff rosters, maintain records, and manage payroll and travel expenses.
- Liaise with family carers, health professionals, and local community services to ensure seamless and integrated support for clients.
- Oversee client assessments, care plans, and risk management processes.
- Promote dementia awareness and the services at a local level.
- Ensure compliance with HSE Service Level Agreements and manage health and safety standards.
