FRS Recruitment, in partnership with Aurora, is seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to join their team in Kilkenny. Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily living activities, promoting independence and well-being.
- Deliver personal care, including bathing, toileting, and feeding, tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with social outings, community integration, and recreational activities.
- Contribute to household management, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Collaborate with the care team to create and implement individualised care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety regulations.
Key Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 Major Award Certificate in Health care Support (all 8 modules completed).
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities (graduates are welcome).
- Full Irish manual driving licence and willingness to drive Aurora transport vehicles.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible rosters, including days, nights, and weekends.
