An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a leading manufacturing company based in Longford. This role is ideal for a highly skilled and analytical finance professional looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
The Role:
As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and driving efficiencies across the business. You will oversee daily accounting operations, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to strategic decision-making. This position offers the chance to work closely with senior management and operational teams to enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial reporting, compliance, and audit preparation
• Management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Monitoring financial risks and implementing internal controls
• Overseeing accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management
• Driving process improvements, system automation, and ERP integration
What You Need:
• Qualified Accountant with PQE
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
• Experience in a fast-paced industry (construction/manufacturing preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems & Excel (Power BI is a plus)
• Knowledge of Irish & UK GAAP and tax regulations
