FRS are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a dynamic Irish owned and operated growing retail business. This is a hands-on, strategic role offering the opportunity to develop and lead the finance function. The successful candidate will oversee financial systems, provide accurate reporting, and contribute to shaping the business's financial strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations of a small finance team and ensure smooth financial processes
• Monitor and report on performance through monthly dashboards and weekly KPIs
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flows, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance profitability and efficiency
• Develop, improve, and implement reporting tools to support decision-making
• Management of all aspects of payroll and ensure tax compliance, including VAT and PAYE
• Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
• Drive the quarter-end process and ensure clean, accurate Balance Sheet accounts
• Provide insightful commentary on P&L variances and deliver analytical reviews to improve performance
• Manage capital expenditure projects and track ROI for key investments
• Support all departments with meaningful financial data to optimise margins


Requirements:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Retail Industry experience is essential
• Knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS, with payroll expertise
• Experience in group reporting and statutory compliance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to implement change and drive process improvements
