Stores Operative – Kilkenny Area
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Experienced Stores Operative to join a busy client site in the Kilkenny area. This is a permanent position with a salary of €39,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily stores operations, including deliveries when required.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and client staff.
- Monitor emails and manage site requests efficiently.
- Provide timely and accurate updates on stock levels and orders.
- Work with ERP systems such as SAP, Maximo, or Oracle.
- Carry out site-specific requests and other ad hoc duties as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in stores operations with excellent administrative skills.
- Experience with engineering materials is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, confident in liaising with clients and vendors.
- A flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Own transport is essential, as the site is not easily accessible by public transport.
