Emergency Medicine Registrars
FRS Recruitment are currently working in partnership with the HSE to recruit top level Doctors for HSE positions commencing immediately and in July 2025. These roles are based at top Model 4 and Model 3 University Teaching Hospitals. Experience gained in these roles is beneficial in applying for future specialist training roles to advance an Emergency Medicine career in Ireland.
As part of FRS’ commitment to deliver 50 top international Doctors we are currently screening Emergency Medicine Doctors who meet the following criteria;
- Graduated with a strong academic performance in medical school
- Completed internship of 1 year or more in acute clinical setting
- 5 or more years acute hospital experience – mostly gained in busy Emergency Medicine departments
- One of the following Higher Qualification in Emergency Medicine;
Membership/Fellowship of the College of Emergency Medicine (MCEM/FCEM)
Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (in Accident and Emergency Medicine and Surgery) (FRCSEd (A&E))
Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM)
Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
Exit examination in Emergency Medicine of the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine
To be eligible, Doctors will also need to have IMC registration active or in process and English language skills certificate (OET or IELTS) in line with HSE language requirements.
