Deli Manager required for a Supermarket in Co. Cork
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of fresh food deli management experience
- Must have experience in ordering and managing waste
- Be up to date in HACCP and food safety training
- Self-motivated and a passion for food service
- Has experience in managing ten or more staff
Main Duties
- Manage the daily activities of employees to improve sales performance
- Manage product storage and rotation
- Assist in the preparation of inventory and sales budgets
- Control staff costs and prepare rosters
- Assist in interviewing, hiring and training staff
- Respond to any queries or complaints
- Ensure all follow company policies and procedures
- Ensure products are properly labelled
- Oversee and ensure that facilities are maintained neat, clean and safe at all times
- Other duties as required
