Working hours: Mon-Thurs, 9 – 5:30pm & 9-5pm on Fridays
Salary: €35k
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Underwriter. Our client provides lending and credit services to customers nationwide. As an Underwriter you will assess and evaluate risks for loan applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate loan applications to determine risk exposure.
- Analyse financial documents, credit history and other relevant data to assess risk.
- Ensure underwriting decisions align with company policies, industry regulations, and risk appetite.
- Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and supporting documentation.
- Provide recommendations to improve underwriting processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Third level/QFA/Financial/Accountancy qualification or experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
