I am recruiting for a Compliance Officer for a Charity based in Dublin 15. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for identifying, advising, monitoring and reporting on compliance for the business. The role requires three year's experience preferably in Social Housing or the voluntary sector.
There is a Hybrid work option after probation period.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements across a range of metrics.
- Report to the Executive and CEO on the association’s compliance
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and take appropriate action.
- Act as a point of contact for the organisation with the externally appointed Data Protection Officer.
- Work with the CEO and Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation across the organisation.
- Assist the CEO in developing and implementing a HR Strategy for the Association
- Assist the Risk Officer to manage the process of identifying managing and mitigating risk across the organisation.
- Ensure the timely updating of the association’s risk registers
- Co-ordinate the Internal Audit schedule
Qualifications:
- Three year’s relevant experience preferably in Social Housing, or voluntary sector
- In depth knowledge of at least one of the following; Approved Housing Body Regulation, Charities Regulation, Residential Tenancies Acts Compliance, GDPR, Human Resources, Health & Safety.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies.
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word and Excel.
