FRS are partnering with a rapidly growing business in the Property Sector to recruit a Company Accountant to manage the finance function.
Working closely with the Directors you take full responsibility for the finance function and manage a small team whilst contributing to key business decisions to facilitate further growth and expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis
- Issuing invoices and managing debtors
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Management of bank accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Year-end activities
- Review and improve financial policies and procedures
- Tax and statutory compliance, VAT, RCT
- Sales and KPI analysis
- Margin and profitability reporting
- Key player in driving continuous improvement for financial reporting
- Contribute to other commercial & financial projects and requirements as required
Requirements:
- Qualified/Part-Qualified working towards Qualification with relevant experience
- Experience working in an SME environment
- Self-motivated, analytical and commercial/ entrepreneurial mindset
- Proven ability to lead from the front and develop teams
