Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Interpret and review technical drawings, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections, setting out works, and ensuring quality control.
- Monitor project progress, report on milestones, and address any technical challenges.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed.
- Assist in managing project budgets and controlling costs.
- Prepare reports, technical documentation, and method statements as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally in infrastructure, utilities, or groundworks projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential.
