My client is seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant / Part-Qualified Accountant to join their accounts team in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a variety of clients and supporting senior auditors in a professional and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the accounts team to support the preparation of financial records.
- Liaise with audit seniors on account preparation and compliance tasks.
- Assist in managing accounts for SMEs, farmers, sole traders, and companies.
- Prepare accounts up to trial balance.
- Handle VAT and payroll processing.
- Provide general support in preparing accounts files as directed by audit seniors.
- Manage administrative tasks, including filing and answering phone calls.
Requirements:
- Previous accounting experience is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with VAT and payroll processes is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
