Our client based in South Tipperary – close to Cashel / Clonmel are seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant (3 days) to work as part of an Finance team and to support the Financial Controller. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts who is looking for a flexible part-time position. The role is based on-site and involves working 2 days in the office and 1 from home per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising and managing sales invoices.
  • Performing creditor reconciliations to ensure accuracy in accounts.
  • Processing supplier payments and maintaining payment records.
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with general accounts tasks.
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a finance team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
