Our client based in South Tipperary – close to Cashel / Clonmel are seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant (3 days) to work as part of an Finance team and to support the Financial Controller. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts who is looking for a flexible part-time position. The role is based on-site and involves working 2 days in the office and 1 from home per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising and managing sales invoices.
- Performing creditor reconciliations to ensure accuracy in accounts.
- Processing supplier payments and maintaining payment records.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with general accounts tasks.
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role is essential.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a finance team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
